Naomi M. Church Hinsdale, NY Naomi M. Church of 4332 Gile Hollow Rd. passed away Monday (March 14, 2016) at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo after a long illness. Born January 9, 1947 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Albert G. and Josephine T. Valenti Puccinelli. On February 14, 2004 in Allegany she married Greg T. Church who survives. Naomi was a graduate of Kensington High School. She worked as a certified nurses aid first for the Cattaraugus County Nursing Home, now The Pines and later for the former St. Joseph's Manor. She then worked both as a CNA and in housekeeping at The Absolut of Allegany, retiring in 2015 due to illness. She was an honorary member of the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and camping. She also enjoyed lavishing love to her grandchildren and at home she enjoyed her flower gardens and watching hummingbirds. Surviving besides her husband are 2 sons Thomas Puccinelli of Olean and Sean (Rebecca) Sciabarassi of Kenmore; 2 stepdaughters Donna (Ladd) Stady and Diane Spring, both of Allegany; 1 stepson Greg (Tammi) Church, Jr. of Sarasota, FL; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved so dearly; 3 sisters Camille Spaulding of Warsaw, Enice Puccinelli of Allegany and Vanda (Thomas) Samol of Hinsdale; 1 brother Albert J. Puccinelli, Sr. of Salamanca; a brother-in-law Victor Srodawa of Olean and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Diane A. Srodawa. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral services will be held Friday (March 18, 2016) at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department or to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm and Carlton Sts. Buffalo, NY 14263.
