Obituary of Naomi J. Beabout

Naomi Jane Beabout Allegany, NY Naomi Jane Beabout of 3974 Route 417 passed away Tuesday (February 23, 2016) at Gates Vascular Institute in Buffalo after a brief illness. Born November 8, 1933 in Olean she was the daughter of Bernard T. and Viola C. Bean Wolfe, Sr. Naomi was a graduate of Olean High School and was a homemaker for many years. She then worked as a Unit Clerk at Olean General Hospital for a short while until she started employment with the ReHabilitation Center. She was a resident supervisor and life coach for the 6th St. home for close to 15 years prior to her retirement. She was an active member of the Creekside Chapel in Allegany. She was a Sunday school teacher at various churches for many years. She loved teaching children about God and she had a natural desire to help others. She volunteered at her church as well as for the Meals on Wheels program. Surviving are 1 son Ron (Carol) Beabout of Germantown, MD; 2 grandsons Geoffrey Beabout and CSSN Richard Beabout; 2 brothers Bernard "Jake" Wolfe, Jr. of Olean and Douglas (Nancy) Wolfe of Arcade and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Ronald Wolfe and Donald Wolfe. Friends will be received on Saturday (February 27, 2016) from 11:00am until noon at the Creekside Chapel on the Five Mile Road in Allegany. Funeral services will begin at noon at the church. Rev. Adam Stein, pastor, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Dodi McIntyre. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville. The family requests no flowers.
