Mary L. Roberts
Olean, NY Mary L. Roberts of 120 N. 4th St. passed away Thursday (February 18, 2016) after a brief stay at Absolut of Allegany.
Born May 6, 1936 in Butler, Alabama she was the daughter of Hal and Fannie Roberts.
Mary attended Harvest Field Ministries in Olean and always enjoyed singing and cooking. She also enjoyed watching wrestling on television as well as making trips to the Casino.
Surviving are a son Patrick Roberts of Olean; 4 sisters Anne Hilton and Odessa Smith, both of Olean, Dot Ellis of New York City and Ozie Williams of Brooklyn; 2 brothers Samuel Roberts and Paul Roberts, both of Olean and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Willie James Roberts in 1991.
Friends are invited to a memorial service to be held Thursday (February 25, 2016) at 3pm at Harvest Field Ministries, 406 W. State St., Olean. Rev. Douglas Travis, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
