Obituary of Holly D. Wright

HOLLY D. WRIGHT "Loving mother and grandmother" OLEAN – Holly D. Wright of South Barry Street died unexpectedly on Thursday November 11, 2004 shortly after arrival at the Olean General Hospital. She was born in Olean on April 20, 1957. Holly was employed for many years at Hills department store and later at the Bon-Ton. She attended St. Francis School of nursing, graduating in 2001. She was employed as a nurse for the St. Bonaventure Franciscan Motherhouse and was most recently employed as a nurse at the Waters of Salamanca. Holly was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bowling and collected candles. She was a dedicated nurse and was a very giving person to those around her. She is survived by her mother Marion Wright of Coudersport, PA; a daughter Christina L. Vaughn of Olean; a son Sgt. Terrance M. Vaughn of Ft. Benning, GA; grandchildren Robert, Emily and Kyle; a brother Kenneth (Terri) Wright of Olean and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her companion Edward Vaughn in 2000, a sister Carol Wright in 1962 and her grandmother Lois Easley in 2000. Friends will be received on Sunday November 14, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., where funeral services will be conducted on Monday (Nov. 15) at a time to be announced. Burial and committal services will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to the Waters of Salamanca, 451 Broad Street, Salamanca, NY 14779.
