Obituary of Anna Jurenko

Allegany-Anna M. Jurenko, of 105 Jefferson Ave, passed away Saturday (February 14, 2009) at the Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean. Born January 8, 1924 in Olean, she was the daughter of Thomas and Anna Pikula Bush. On October 29, 1955 in Olean, she married Peter Jurenko, who predeceased her on March 9, 1998. Mrs. Jurenko was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and doing needle work. Surviving are 2 sons Michael Jurenko of Sugarland TX, Joseph Jurenko of Geneva NY; a grand-daughter Victoria Marie Jurenko of Lawton, OK; 2 sisters Stella Jankowski of Olean, Nellie Ludwiczak of Hawaii; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece Julia Taylor of Granville OH, and her children Kristina Taylor, Brent Taylor, Corrine Taylor, Heather Taylor and Gregory Taylor, all of Granville, OH. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a sister Mary Germack and 6 brothers Francis Bush, John Bush, Stanley Bush, Joseph Bush, Edward Bush and Simon Bush. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (February 18, 2009) beginning with a prayer service at 10:30am in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am in St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. Richard Husted, OFM, pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials if desired, may be made to St. Bonaventure Church Organ Fund. <h3>Visitation</h3> Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home <h3>Services</h3> A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (February 18, 2009) at 11:00am in St. Bonaventure Church. <h3>Interment</h3> Burial service will be at St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
