Obituary of Isabella Nolder

Olean- Isabella E. Nolder of 301 W. Henley Street and a longtime resident of 711 Four Mile Road in Allegany, passed away Wednesday (March 11, 2015) at the Olean General Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born February 6, 1928 in Medina NY, she was the daughter of Camillo and Mary Trupo Goretti. On October 18, 1947 in Buffalo, she married John F. "Buddy" Nolder, who predeceased her February 28, 1996.
Mrs. Nolder was a graduate of St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo. She worked for 22 years for AVX in Olea, retiring in May 17, 1990. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and also attended St. Mary's Byzantine Church in Olean.
Surviving are two sons David A. (Lynn) Nolder of Allegany and Daniel (Connie) Nolder of Montgomery NY; five grandsons; one granddaughter; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters Rina Rivera, Camilla Ruda and Marie Lo Brutto and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one son John F. Nolder, Jr., and three brothers Joseph Goretti, Carl Goretti and Peter Goretti.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road on Friday from 4-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (March 14, 2015) beginning with a 12:30pm prayer service at the funeral home, followed by a 1pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. James Vacco, OFM will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
