Dear Jan, Jim, Edye, & all family members, We called her "Aunt Lee" but in many ways she was a 2nd mother to me, Dan, & Joe. It was a blessing to have her live next door. Aunt Lee brought so much joy into the lives of many. When we talk of Christmas memories, the 1st thing that comes to mind is all of the Christmas Eves we spent at your house after serving midnight mass. Your mother's kindness was unending toward my parents. I will forever remember the meals sent over after illnesses and afflictions became a part of my parents' lives. Your mother's love for my mother was so beautiful and sacred. When dad died she opened her home to not only mom, but my family as well on Thanksgiving of 2014. We are told heaven is beautiful. Now that Aunt Lee is in heaven, there can be no doubt of its beauty. I am truly lucky to have had not 1 but 2 special women in my life, my mom and Aunt Lee. Life won't be quite as fulfilling without her, but at least she will be watching over us with that special love that very few people possess. Aunt Lee, I love you and I'll miss you forever.
