Obituary of Robert Miles

Robert L. Miles Allegany, NY Robert L. Miles of Allegany passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (March 4, 2014) in his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. Born June 17, 1949 in Wellsville he was the son of Darwin and Betty Greene Miles. Robert lived and worked in Texas for over twenty years before returning to this area. He had worked as a truck driver in Texas and later for Portville Truck and Auto Repair, Inc. He most recently worked at the Kwik Fill station in Allegany. He enjoyed spending time using his computer. Surviving are his mother Betty Miles McDonald of Olean; a sister Carolyn (James) Grove of State College, PA and a brother Richard (Sharon) Miles of Lexington, SC. At Robert's request, there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
