Obituary of Linda Goodemote

Linda L. Goodemote Allegany, NY Linda L. Goodemote of 2310 Sheldon Drive passed away Saturday (January 18, 2014) at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo after a recent bout with cancer. Born September 7, 1944 in Springville she was the daughter of Clyde and Irene Parsons Lux, Sr. On February 2, 1963 at St. Aloysius Church in Springville she married James F. Goodemote who survives. Linda was a 1962 graduate of Griffith Institute in Springville and along with her husband owned the former Heritage Inn on N. Barry Street from 1968 to 1976. She later worked as a secretary to the Dean of Graduate Studies at St. Bonaventure University from 1976 until 1994. For several years until the present she was working as an EMT for Trans Am Ambulance Service in Olean. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter Michelle (Robert) Marcellin of Olean; a son Daniel Goodemote of Olean; 3 grandchildren Aimee Marcellin, Hannah Marcellin and Ravyn Goodemote; 2 brothers Clyde (Sue) Lux, Jr. of Florida and William Lux of Glenwood; a sister Sharon (Ted) Buffaloe of Philadelphia, PA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Valerie Kendall. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday (January 22, 2014) at 9:30am in St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. James Vacco, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant. A private burial service will take place at St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm and Carlton Sts. Buffalo, NY 14263 or to Mt.
