Born March 12, 1954 in Olean she was the daughter of Frank and Shirley Fitch Boni. On September 18, 1976 at St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany she married Paul E. Kula who survives.
Debbie was a 1972 graduate of Allegany High School and was first employed by the former McGraw Edison Co., now Cooper Power Systems in the personnel department. She was a devout Catholic, strong in her faith, and believed in the power of prayer and the presence of angels. She was first and foremost faithful to her family and friends and could always be counted on to quickly respond to the needs of others. She took pleasure in reading, gardening and attending plays performed by the Olean Community Theater.
Surviving besides her husband and her parents of Allegany are two daughters Angela Kula of Allegany and Andrea Kula (Shane Thorn) of New York City; a sister Mary (Chris) Zimmerman of Jacksonville, FL and a loving, extended family and close circle of friends.
There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bonaventure Church on Tuesday (December 10, 2013) at 6pm. Rev. James Vacco, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant.
