Obituary of Robert Kibler

Robert F. Kibler Allegany, NY Robert F. Kibler of 4133 Five Mile Rd. passed away Tuesday (October 1, 2013) at the Buffalo General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 19, 1039 in Olean he was the son of Lee and Bernice Steiner Kibler. On March 12, 1971 in the town of Humphrey he married Joyce A. Bush who survives. Mr. Kibler was a graduate of Olean High School and had worked for the City of Olean Water Department for thirty nine years before retiring in 1997. Mr. Kibler enjoyed hiking and camping with his family and loved being "Papa" to his grandchildren. He also was very social and enjoyed having coffee at McDonald's with his buddies. He loved to hunt and fish and work on jigsaw puzzles and was a member of the Olean Community Church. Surviving besides his wife are three daughters Michelle (Scott) Rickicki of Richburg, Kelly (Douglas) Patrone of Hinsdale and Shanna (Allan) Dunlap of Allegany; seven grandchildren Dominic, Christopher and Michael Rickicki, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Patrone, Abigail McCoy and Lainey Dunlap; one sister Shanna (William) Culkins of Palm Desert, CA; one nephew R. Timothy Bush of Windber, PA and a mother-in-law Gladys Bush of Allegany. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean tonight (Thursday) from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held Friday (October 4, 2013) at 10:30am in the funeral home. Rev. Bryan Garrett, pastor of the Olean Community Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
