Anthony J. "Tony" Kendzior Bolivar, NY Anthony J. "Tony" Kendzior of 106 Ackerman St. went home peacefully Saturday (June 29, 2013) after a lengthy stay in Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born October 10, 1959 in Olean he was the son of Edward A. Kendzior and Agnes Stritof Kendzior. He attended Transfiguration Parochial School and graduated from Olean High School. He had been employed as a tradesman in electrical installation and ironworks. Surviving are his mother Agnes (Bart) Moudy of Conway, SC; one brother Kenneth (Kim Dahl) Kendzior of Sacramento, CA; one sister Victoria (Ed) Fuchs of Conway, SC; a nephew Jacob Kendzior of Ventura, CA; two nieces Amber Klute of Myrtle Beach, SC and Ellice Kendzior of Auburn, CA; two aunts Rosemarie (Vincent) Gagliardo of Olean and Antoinette Wood of Rose, NY and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father Edward in 2003. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Monday from 2-5pm at which time funeral services will be held. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 315 Alberta Dr. Suite 102, Amherst, NY 14226. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
