DONNA D. HOWARD "Loving Mother and Grandmother" OLEAN - Donna D. Howard, a resident of the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Olean Campus died Thursday January 30, 2003 at the Olean General Hospital. Born in Olean on August 20, 1916 she was the daughter of Henry and Mabel Cleveland Wright. On April 11, 1936 in Olean she married Stanley C. Howard who predeceased her December 9, 1968. She was a former member of the Cattaraugus County Home Bureau and the Merry Maids Card Club. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she was active in many of the church's activities through the mizpah class where she also served as president. She is survived by two daughters, Kay (Robert) Walker of Delmar, NY and Eleanor (Thomas) Carlson of Tucson, AZ; two sons, Gary (Carol) Howard and Wayne (Dianna) Howard, both of Olean; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Saturday February 1, 2003 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 7-9 PM and on Sunday February 2, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral and committal services will be held at the funeral home on Monday February 3, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Rev. John Bartz, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
