Olean- Anne C. Quinn of 138 S. 3rd Street, passed away Tuesday (December 25, 2012 after a brief illness.
Born January 10, 1922 in Bradford, PA, she was the daughter of Edward and Loretta Crowley Conley. On November 28, 1953 in Bradford, she married Thomas H. Quinn, who predeceased her July 8, 2009.
Mrs. Quinn was a graduate of St. Bernard's High School in Bradford. Before moving to Olean, she worked at South Penn Oil Company.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church in Olean. She enjoyed walking, baking and was an avid Buffalo Sabres Fan.
Surviving are two daughters Mary Elizabeth (Ken) Quattrone of Allegany, Anne Colleen Quinn (Milt) Ferrantelli of Chandler, AZ; two granddaughters Sarah (Steve) Asma and Mallory Quattrone; one brother Tom Conley; her twin sister Joan Smith and sister Mary Kay Sweeney; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Thomas H. Quinn, III.
There will be no public visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, Olean. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church will officiate Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
