Mildred M. Boats
Olean, NY Mildred M. Boats of 122 S. 18th St. passed away Sunday (October 14, 2012).
Born January 5, 1920 in Shinglehouse, PA she was the daughter of Wallace and Cora Corwin Newton. On May 17, 1940 in Olean she married Linus L. Boats who predeceased her June 10, 1994.
Mrs. Boats was a resident of Olean most of her life and was a devoted homemaker, mother and wife. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church.
Surviving are two sons Gary P. (Shirley) Boats of Fallston, MD and Donald R. (Sarah) Boats of Aberdeen, MD; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister Elna Dean (Howard) Murray of Lacanto, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday (October 18, 2012) at 11:00am at the funeral home. Rev. David Tourville will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
