Obituary of Anna M. Jedrosko

Anna M. Jedrosko "loving mother and grandmother" Olean, NY--Anna M. Jedrosko of Olean died Thursday (February 13, 2003) in The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Olean after a brief illness. Born June 1, 1911 in Ludlow, Pa. she was the daughter of John and Catherine Danak Zeedar. In 1936 in Ludlow, Pa. she married Peter J. Jedrosko who predeceased her March 17, 1973. Mrs. Jedrosko had resided on Homer Street and on River Street in Olean for over 60 years and had been employed in the housekeeping department at St. Bonaventure University prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Transfiguration Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Pulaski Club Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time knitting and doll collecting, and she especially was kind to all the neighborhood animals. Surviving are 2 daughters Betty (Ralph) Grove and Carol Swick, both of Olean; 3 sons Edward (Carol) Jedrosko, John (Sharon) Jedrosko and Robert Jedrosko, all of Olean; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 1 brother George Zeedar of Ludlow, Pa.; 2 sisters Stella Frapello of Long Island and Mary Danielson of Kane, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received today(Friday)from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral services will be held Saturday (February 15, 2003) beginning with a prayer service at 9:30am in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Transfiguration Church. Rev. Jerome Stelmach, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the memorial fund at The Pines Health Care and Rehabilitation Center 2245 W. State St. Olean, NY 14760 or to the SPCA 2944 Olean Hinsdale Rd. Olean, NY 14760
