Obituary of Thomas Quinn

Thomas H. Quinn, III Charlottesville, VA Thomas H. Quinn, III, formerly of Olean, died Wednesday (June 13, 2012) at the University Of Virginia Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Charlottesville on May 28. Born April 28, 1960 in Olean, NY he was the son of Thomas H. and Anne C. Conley Quinn. Mr. Quinn attended school at St. Mary of the Angels Parochial School and was a 1978 graduate of Olean High School. He later graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH with a degree in Business Administration. He had been residing in the Virginia area for the past six years and since August of 2007 had been working as the vice president and business banking manager for Stellar One Corp in Charlottesville. He enjoyed attending sporting events, including University of Virginia football and basketball games and was a fan of St. Bonaventure basketball and the Buffalo Sabres. Recently he had been volunteering for the local Alzheimer's Association. Surviving besides his mother are two sisters Mary Elizabeth (Ken) Quattrone of Allegany and Anne Colleen (Milt Ferrantelli) Quinn of Chandler, AZ; two nieces Sarah Quattrone (Steve) Asma of Port Orange, FL and Mallory Quattrone of Arlington, VA and many cousins. His father predeceased him July 8, 2009. There will be no public visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central & Western Virginia Chapter 1160 Pepsi Place, Suite 306 Charlottesville, VA 20901 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
