Dear Susan, Mark, & Craig, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. She was a lovely lady. I'm so glad I got to come to New York for your dad's funeral, as it allowed me to reconnect with all of you. I wish I could come out this time, too, but I will have to send my love along with Mom & Dad. If Abby were there, you know she would have a special hug for each of you and your families. With love and sympathy, Deanna

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. I fondly remember her, Mrs. Wiedeman, and my mother on our first day in kindergarden, Mark, and wearing an apron and greeting us after school or coming in from playing. Warm memories, indeed.

Craig: Thanks so much for calling. While Jeanne was several years younger than Jean, they were good friends after the war, if for a rather short time. I'm sorry we didn't get to visit more in the interum.

Dear Sue, Mark, and Craig, We are so sorry for the loss of your dear mom. Our families go back more than 50 years together. Many memories of my childhood include the Polson family. And, while we have not seen each other in quite a few years, that special bond created in our childhood will always be with us. Your mom and dad are reunited again, and I'm sure my parents are yours are all 'hanging out' and catching up on a lot. It's been a long time since the four of them have been together. Thank you for some great memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be as you adjust to this new lifestyle. Keep your memories close to you- they will get you through the difficult moments. Talk to your mom- she hears you. Take care. Much love, Ruth
