Obituary of Beatrice Jubera

Allegany, NY Beatrice I. Jubera, 95, formerly of 298 Walter Smith Terrace, Corning, NY, died Tuesday (February 15, 2011) at the Absolut of Allegany. Born March 18, 1915 in Asaph, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Glenna Bailey Butler. On January 1, 1954, she married William C. Jubera who predeceased her. Mrs. Jubera was a member of the Corning VFW Post 524 Ladies Auxiliary and the Corning American Legion John P. Eaton Post Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons Andrew (Diane) Jubera of Olean and Richard (Zoe) Swain of Rochester; 3 daughters Nancy (Fran) McChesney of Big Flats, Glenna (Robert) Liburdy of Palm Springs, CA and Laura (Rick) Stonier, Fisherville, VA; a daughter-in-law Sylvia Swain of Converse, TX; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband she was predeceased by 1 son Robert Swain and 6 brothers Horace, Eugene, Chester, Miles, Edward and Albert Butler. There will be no services at this time. Burial will take place in the family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery, Corning at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Haughey Funeral Home 216 E. First Street Corning, NY. Local arrangements are with the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
