Patricia J. Venezia
Great Valley, NY Patricia J. Venezia of 5558 Sugartown Rd. died Tuesday (January 25, 2011) in her home.
Born January 22, 1938 in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of Casimer and Victoria Paszkiewicz Saskowski. She was married to Anthony Venezia who survives.
Mrs. Venezia was raised in Buffalo and later resided in Hendersonville, NC where she had been employed as a real estate broker. Upon her and her husband's retirement they moved to their cottage on Sugartown Road in Great Valley.
She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church in Ellicottville and she enjoyed reading.
Surviving besides her husband are one daughter Donna (Rick) Conalungo of Allegany; one son Rocco (Patricia) Venezia of Canandaigua; five grandchildren; one great grandson; one sister Dorothy (Thomas) Rogers of Depew and several step brothers, step sisters, nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held Saturday (January 29, 2011) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Rev. Ron Mierzwa, pastor of Holy Name of Mary Church, will officiate. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Parkinson's Association of Western New York, 5140 Main Street Suite 303-154 Williamsville, NY 14221.
