Walter J. Rogosienski
Olean, NY Walter J. Rogosienski of 1616 Walnut St. passed away peacefully Monday (August 2, 2010) in his home after a long illness.
Born July 3, 1941 in Olean, NY he was the son of Walter J. and Cecelia Kulkulka Rogosienski.
Mr. Rogosienski was a lifelong resident of Olean and worked for a period of time for SubCon Industries in Olean. His home was his pride and joy and he loved to putter in his workshop with wood crafts and make improvements inside his home. He also gardened and collected eagle knick knacks. He loved traveling, especially to visit casinos, loved riding 4 wheelers, and loved the family dog "Ginger".
Surviving are 2 brothers and 2 sisters Joseph (Helen) Rogosienski, Carol (Robert) Elwood of Olean, John (Terry) Rogosienski and Theresa Tierson of Olean; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; 1 great great nephew and 3 favorite homecare workers Tracie, Angie and Denise whom he loved like family.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday (August 5, 2010) from 7-8pm at the New Apostolic Church 923 King St. Olean. Funeral services will follow at 8:00pm at the church. Burial will take place Friday in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
