Obituary of Norma I. Bell

NORMA I BELL Loving Sister and Aunt OLEAN - Norma I. Bell of 1014 River Street died today, April 14, 2003 at her residence. Born in Olean on January 12, 1933 she was a daughter of Norman and Grace Miller Bell. She was a graduate of Hinsdale High School. Norma was employed for 44 years at ACME electric where she served as financial secretary of the union, local #340. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, caring for pets and enjoyed her computer. She is survived by two brothers, Ronald R. (Yolanda) Bell and Donald E. (Jean) Bell, both of Hinsdale; a sister, Carol S. Marcellin of Ceres, NY; an aunt, Marie Miller of Westons Mills; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Bob Karuch of Olean. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Marion Rouse and a brother Robert Bell. There will be no public visitations. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Hinsdale Cemetery, Maplehurst, NY. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean.
