Obituary of Valerie Taylor

Valerie J. Taylor "beloved mother, daughter and sister" Olean, NY--Valerie J. Taylor of 115½ West Green Street died unexpectedly Wednesday (April 7, 2010) shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital. Born October 26, 1958 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of John and Shirley Thompson Besok. Valerie was raised in Olean and later resided in Mississippi for several years, returning to Olean 3 years ago. She enjoyed her dogs, playing computer internet games and doing computer photography. Surviving besides her mother of Olean are 2 daughters Tracy Vaughn and Savana Baker; 2 grandchildren Dylan and Ian; 5 siblings Alan Baker, Gail (Gary) Feuchter, John (Kathy) Besok, all of Olean, Shirley Barton of Texas, Robert Besok of Olean and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and 1 brother Steven Baker in 1988. At Valerie's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation of Upstate New York P.O. Box 1094 Buffalo, NY 14221 or to the SPCA 2944 Olean-Hinsdale Rd. Olean, NY 14760. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
