THE PASSCODE IS 294210. Olean, NY Jorge L. “Georgie” Adames, an Intandem resident of 1951 W. Fall Rd., passed away Tuesday (November 2, 2021) of a sudden death due to natural causes. Jorge was born July 27, 1955 in Manhattan and was one of three sons born to Norberto and Providencia Adames. He lived the latter part of his life under the loving care of Intandem at the West Fall Rd. home where he endeared himself to so many of the staff and their families. Anytime any children or dogs stopped in, he delighted in their company and conversation. He stayed strongly connected with his family and enjoyed outings to restaurants and trips to Walmart. He had a pleasant personality and loved people of all walks of life. His warm smile and appreciative nature made him a joy to be around. In addition to enjoying trips of any duration, he loved listening to “oldies” music including the Beatles, Patsy Cline, Elvis and Charlie Pride. Georgie’s family is deeply indebted to all the hard workers at Intandem who made a difference in his life, and the life of so many others. He is survived by a brother Norbert “Norbie” (Margarita) Adames of Geneseo; 1 niece maria Anderson and 2 nephews Johnny Adames and Raymond Adames. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Juan Adames. There will be time of gathering as friends and family on Friday (November 5, 2021) at 11am in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. There will be a couple speakers to lead a service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. On Sunday November 7th at 3:30pm, there will be a funeral talk which will be held remotely.
