Cecile A. Barbaro

Olean, NY     Cecile A. Barbaro of 1015 1/2 Washington St. passed away peacefully Wednesday (April 25, 2018) in the Buffalo General Hospital.

Born May 26, 1967 in Olean she was the daughter of Ned J. and Helen V. Simmons Barbaro.

Cecile attended St. Mary of the Angels Parochial School and graduated from Olean High School.  She first worked for the former Ames Department Store and later for the Sports Locker in Olean.  She then worked for the Seneca Casino for a period of time before resuming work again in the embroidery department for the Sports Locker.

She enjoyed cooking, playing euchre, and was a fan of St. Bonaventure men's basketball, the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.  She especially loved her pet dog companions over the years.

Surviving are 2 brothers Steven Barbaro of Auburn, GA and Christopher Barbaro and his companion Dennis Davis of Upatoi, GA and 2 nieces Tamara and Annabelle.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Anthony Barbaro.

The family will be present to receive friends for a visitation on Friday (April 27, 2018) from 4-6pm only at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean.
