Patricia M. Belser
Olean, NY Patricia M. Belser, of Olean, passed away peacefully Monday (February 19, 2018) at The Pines of Olean.
Born April 11, 1937 in Bradford, PA she was the daughter of William and Mary Smith Willibey. In 1977 in Bradford, PA she married Lawrence Belser who predeceased her in January of 1999.
Patricia had worked in Bradford for the Corning Glass Factory and then later as a licensed practical nurse for the Bradford Nursing Pavilion. She then received her Associates in Science/Nursing degree from the Olean campus of Jamestown Community College and worked as a registered nurse for the former Salamanca Healthcare Complex in the Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility.
She enjoyed doing crafts and making quilts. She loved to travel, especially to New Mexico and she also loved animals. She held the service of American veterans in high regard.
Surviving are a daughter Jacquelyn (Anthony Tyler) Glendinning of Wooster, OH; a son Dale (Judy) Marble of Wooster, OH; 3 grandchildren Jamie (Cyrus Brown) Glendinning, Kevin (Colleen) Glendinning and Allison (Mike Long) Marble; 1 sister Barb (Ron) Kanehl of Blasdell and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her parents and 3 sisters Mary Ann Lechiara, Marie Mendetta and Carol Imbasciati.
At Patricia's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
