Betty A. Faerber

Olean, NY     Betty A. Faerber, 91, of Olean passed away Tuesday (January 30, 2018) at the Bradford, (PA) Manor.

Born November 27, 1926 in Shinglehouse, PA she was the daughter of Miles and Josephine Flicker Higley.  She was married to Emanuel Faerber who predeceased her in 1993.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and had resided in Olean most of her adult life.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother Robert Higley and a sister Delores Hyde.

At Mrs. Faerber's request, there will be no scheduled services.  Burial will take place next to her husband on Friday (February 2, 2018) at Mt. View Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
