Olean, NY Angel L. Ferrer, 57, of Olean passed on to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 15, 2017.
Born November 21, 1959 in Bridgeport, CT he was the son of Alfred Ferrer and Carmen Alvarez. On February 14, 1997 in Olean he married Debra E. Kent who survives.
Angel was a self-employed contractor in the Olean area having previously worked for Dineen Painting, Pro Painting, the former Fancher Furniture Co. and most recently for the Cranberry Court Apartments.
He loved his work as a painter, loved his dog Sampson, and lived his life with an abiding faith in God. His strong faith in his loving Lord, Jesus Christ, carried him through his days on earth and he was often quoted as saying "I am worse than most, but only by amazing Grace am I saved." He will be sadly missed by his wife, his family and his friends whom he deeply loved.
In addition to his wife Debra he is survived by 4 children, 5 stepchildren and many other family and friends.
