Florence M. Davis
Machias, NY—Florence M. Davis, formerly of Randolph, died Thursday (January 24, 2008) in The Pines, Machias Campus.
Born May 24, 1918 in Streeter, IL she was the daughter of Oakley and Catherine Laurer Phearsdorf, Sr. She was married to Rex Davis who predeceased her.
Mrs. Davis attended school in Allegany and later lived in Randolph where she was a homemaker.
Surviving are 1 daughter Shirley Davis of Randolph; 1 brother Oakley (Donna) Phearsdorf, Jr. of Allegany; 2 sisters Laura Karst of Cuba and Ruby Skroback of Allegany and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 2 sisters Belva Colley and Betty Arlia.
There are no scheduled services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
