Obituary of Allen M. Pavia

Allen M. Pavia Allegany, NY—Allen M. Pavia of 3102 Buffalo Rd. died Thursday (February 28, 2008) in Allegany. Born August 11, 1989 in Olean he was the son of Rick and Audrey Wheaton Pavia. Allen attended Ellicottville Central School and was a 2007 graduate of Allegany Limestone Central School where he lettered in basketball and football. He also attended Jamestown Community College in Olean. He was employed at Holiday Valley in the ticket sales department. His favorite sport was playing basketball where he was currently competing in a church basketball league. He also enjoyed listening to music and tinkering with his car. Surviving besides his parents of Allegany are 2 brothers Christopher Pavia of Santa Cruz, CA and Shawn Pavia at home; his maternal grandfather Aubrey “Sonny” Wheaton of Allegany; 2 aunts Cindy Lou White of Jamestown and Page (Tom) Stahley of Salamanca; 1 uncle Aubrey “Willey” Wheaton and several cousins, great aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a maternal grandmother Lola Dianne Wheaton and his paternal grandparents Leonard and Martha Pavia. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Monday (March 3, 2008) at 11:00am at the Living Waters Church 3036 W. State St. Olean. Rev. Michael Nolder, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Allegany Limestone Central School All Sports Booster Club Scholarship Fund.
