Obituary of Pattie Albney

Allegany- Patricia H. Albney, 67, passed away Saturday (March 23, 2024) after a long illness. Born December 19, 1956, in Olean, she was the daughter of Eldon and Selah Carney See, Sr. On June 8, 1996, in Coudersport, PA she married Mark V Albney who survives. Pattie worked at St. Bonaventure University in housekeeping as a team leader for the Quick Arts Centre. She was a member of the Ischua American Legion Auxiliary. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the aquarium, growing cacti, collecting knick-knacks, cooking, going to bingo, and most importantly being around her family. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children Don (Tammy) Williams of Hinsdale, Nathan Williams of Hinsdale, Mark (Lisa) Albney of Jacksonville, FL, Joanie McCann of San Antonio, TX, Ruth Pereya of Jacksonville, FL, Justin Albney of Durham, NC, and Kyle Albney of Allegany; her siblings John See of Hinsdale, Lou Ann Matteson of PA, Geneva Williams of Ischua, George See of Hinsdale and Penny Boysha of Hinsdale; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Eldon See, Sr., and a brother Eldon See, Jr. No services are being scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later at the convenience of the family. Memorials if desired can be made to the Ischua Fire Department, 5634 NY-16 Hinsdale, NY 14743. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
