Obituary of Mary Ann Yehl

Mary Ann Yehl Allegany, NY Mary Ann Yehl, of 1175 Chipmonk Rd., passed away Tuesday (January 9, 2024) at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 2, 1953 in Olean, she was the daughter of Stephen M. and Beatrice D. Grandusky Lippert. On July 17, 1971 she married the love of her life, Donald M. Yehl who survives. Mary Ann was a 1971 graduate of Allegany Central School. She had worked for the former Leo's Market in Olean, and later the former Edgewood Restaurant. She retired from Allegany Limestone Central School where she worked in the cafeteria for 26 h years. She loved spending time with her husband, and best friend, Don and all her family. She leaves behind her husband Don; one daughter Jennifer Yehl of Allegany; two sons Adam (Jill) Yehl of Ischua, and Ben Yehl of Allegany; five grandchildren Dakota Yehl, AJ Yehl, Lily Yehl, Kennedy Yehl, and Montana Yehl; three brothers and three sisters, David (Barb) Lippert of Elizabethtown, Stephanie (Brian) Klice of Friendship, Thomas (JOJO) Lippert of Allegany, Daniel (Dorothy) Lippert of Olean, Melodie (Rick) Giardini of Allegany, and Carol (Dean) Truman of Allegany; two sisters-in-law Cathy Lippert and Penny Lippert, both of Allegany, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and two brothers Matthew Lippert, Sr., and Lynn Lippert. At Mary Ann's request, no public services are being planned. A private visitation and funeral were held at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Homecare and Hospice, 115 E. Main St., Allegany, NY 14706.
