"Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother" Ceres, NY Deborah M. Gore Irvin, 66, passed away Tuesday (April 5, 2016) at the home of her daughter in Ceres after a four-year battle with breast cancer. She was incredibly courageous, determined and fought her illness with dignity and grace. She was born February 17, 1950 in Olean and was the daughter of Gerald and Doris Nitsche Gore of Olean. Deborah's legacy of strength and determination will be carried on by her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Additionally she is survived by her mother of Portville; beloved brothers Terry Gore of Rushford and Alan Gore of Portville and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandparents Walter and Azuba Jane Gilliland Nitsche and Roland and Grace Laing Gore, her father, a sister Rebecca Gore and a grandson Corry Irvin. Friends will be received on Friday (April 8, 2016) from 11am until 1pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral services will begin at 1pm. Rev. Kirk Kirch, pastor of United Church of Friendship, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Foothills Medical Group Barry St. Health Center, 528 N. Barry St. Olean, NY 14760.
