I am thankful for Carol's life. She was always so thoughtful and kind to me and especially to Ada. She would gather books for Ada to have to read each summer. Ada and I also enjoyed working puzzles with her. I am also grateful for all she did for the church. She will be missed and remembered.

Our sincere condolences to Cindy and to all of Carol's friends and caregivers. I grew up with Carol and Cindy, the whole family, and enjoyed many years with all of their family at our combined retreat at Dansville NY. Carol always was strong and a great sister to Cindy. Our thoughts are with all.

Carol will always be remembered for her service to the Olean First Presbyterian Church and the congregation. In addition to what is mentioned in her obituary, Carol also organized the Sunday morning greeters who welcomed everyone to church as they entered the sanctuary. When I heard my phone ring and saw her name I knew it was my turn to greet. Her involvement showed the generous and kind soul she was. I will remember her smile and gentle humor. Rest In Peace, Carol. You will be missed.

Heavenly Father, thank you for Carol's faithful servant's heart. Thank you for the countless ways she cared for this church family through her willing hands, generous spirit, and quiet act of love. We rejoice that she now rests in Your eternal presence, surrounded by Your perfect peace. Comfort those who mourn her today with the hope we have in Christ, until we gather together again. Amen.
