Obituary of Melissa M. Hicks

Melissa Marie Hicks Melissa Marie Hicks, 49, passed away Thursday (January 22, 2026) at the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, after an extended illness. She was born on April 6, 1976 in Niagara Falls, NY to Gerald H. Stevens and Vida Rieckhoff Stevens. Melissa had a true heart of gold. She loved animals and was a “girly-girl”. She loved shopping, dinner with her friends, and anything water related. She also enjoyed traveling, especially with her sister Laurie. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Hicks; three children, Harliegh (Wryder Greene) Vaughn, Bradley Vaughn, Jr., and Arielle Vaughn; her grandson, and the apple of her eye, Raymond Scott Jordan; her sisters, Laurie Marie Crisafulli, Valerie Sass, and Theresa Ruhl; her brothers, Vito Crisafulli, and Kenneth Puderbach, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Cheryl Lynn Crisafulli, and her beloved dog, Mocha. The family welcomes friends to attend a memorial visitation from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday (January 31, 2026) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean.
