Obituary of Brian M. Quigley

Brian M. Quigley Olean, NY Brian M. Quigley, 61, of Olean, passed away Sunday (July 27, 2025) at Buffalo General Hospital, in the presence of his loving family. Brian was born on June 21, 1964 in New London, CT, he was the son of Patrick F. and Sara Norville Quigley. He graduated from Olean High School in 1982 and was a proud member of the Huskies 1981 NYS Championship football team. He worked several places, first as a cook for Angee’s Restaurant for several years and for the former ReHabilitation Center (now Intandem) for several more years. He also worked part-time for Tasta Pizza. Brian was a sociable person who enjoyed being with his friends and who was deeply loved by them. He enjoyed trips to the casino, and both the Buffalo Bills and the Yankees. He leaves behind 5 siblings, John “Jack” (Sandy) Quigley of Olean, Susan (Jeff) Jovenitti of Kane, PA, Joseph (Lynn) Iresabal of Rochester, Roseanne Iresabal of Jacksonville, FL, and Michael (Judy) Iresabal of Scio, and nieces and nephews, Christopher (Jess) Iresabal, Sara (Tony) Hadd, Michael Iresabal, Amanda Iresabal, Jake Iresabal, Casey Jo Quigley, Samantha (Brian) Bowers, Rebecca Walker, and Andrea (Nate) Allen; several great nieces and great nephews, and Todd Hanson of Watertown, whom he loved as a son. He was predeceased by his father Patrick in 1997, his mother Sara in 2010, and an infant brother, Steven Quigley in 1965. No formal services are being planned at this time. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Big 30 Athletic Corp, C/O Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, 301 N.
