Obituary of Phyllis E. Rossingnol

Phyllis E. Rossingnol Olean, NY Phyllis E. Rossingnol passed away Sunday (July 18, 2021) in Erie, PA after a recent illness. Born April 18, 1953 in Olean, she was the daughter of Emmett J. and Bertha Goodell Bean. On July 10, 1974 in Olean she married Russell J. Rossingnol who predeceased her April 1, 2014. Phyllis was a graduate of Bolivar Central School and lived in Ceres until marrying and moving to Olean. She worked for over 20 years for the former AVX Co. in Olean. She enjoyed fishing with her family, and mostly enjoyed life with them, especially time spent with her grandchildren. Surviving are 2 daughters Renee (Dave) Brown of Olean and Raquel (Kevin Sinn) Graham of Westmoreland, TN; 5 grandchildren Alexander Weakfall, II, Ebony Graham, Kiesha Elliott, Bryanna Graham and Blake Sinn; 2 brothers Ronald (Georgia) Bean of Allegany and Kenneth Bean of Goshem, IN; 1 sister Cindy (Robert) Tillow of Keokuk, IA; several nieces and nephews, and members of the Rossignol family with whom she was close to. The family will receive friends on Wednesday (July 21, 2021) from 1-2pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A funeral service will begin at 2pm in the funeral home. Rev. Tyrone Hall, pastor of CWOW Church Without Walls, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Olean.
