Anthony C. Kubic
Rochester, NY Anthony C. Kubic, an Olean native, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (February 3, 2021) at his home.
Born November 30, 1990 in Olean, he was the son of James H. and Catherine A. Harrington Kubic.
Anthony attended St. Mary of the Angels Parochial School and graduated from Archbishop Walsh High School in 2008. He then attended classes at Jamestown Community College.
He had been employed primarily in the fast food industry in the Rochester area, including serving as manager for Tim Hortons, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Bruegger's Bagels.
Anthony enjoyed playing sports in school and was selected to represent Walsh High School in the Big 30 All-Star Football Game his senior year. He also played little league and high school baseball.
He leaves behind his parents of Olean; 4 siblings Sherrie (Leo Whalen) of Traverse City, MI, Michael (Aurora) Kubic of Sunrise, FL, Daniel (Chasity) Kubic of Silver Creek and Andrew (Jamie ) Kubic of Rochester,; 2 nieces Michaela and Gabriella; 2 nephews Maximus and Jack and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
No visitation or services are being scheduled at this time. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015 or to a local catholic school of the donor's choice.
