Michael "Mike" Thierman
Olean, NY Michael "Mike" Thierman, of Olean, passed away Tuesday (December 22, 2020).
Born December 27, 1963 in Genesee Hospital in Rochester, he was the son of William M. and Patricia A. Swarts Thierman.
Mike graduated from St. Joseph's School For Exceptional Children in Dunkirk in June 1985 and was a member of its Boy Scout Troop 211.
He resided initially at the Rehabilitation Center's (now Intandem) West State St. location and was currently living in its Seneca Street Group Home. He had been participating in the DayHabilitation program at the S. Nine Mile Rd. location.
He leaves behind his parents, William and Patricia Thierman of Allegany; a sister Christine (Steve) Clute of Cuba; 2 brothers Eric (Angela) Thierman of E. Amherst and David (Valeria) Thierman of Lakeland, TN; nieces Amanda Bradley, Michelle (Kyle) George and Chiara Thierman; nephews Nicholas Thierman, Noah Thierman and Benjamin Thierman; great nieces Lily Bradley, Leah Bradley and Mila George, and his Intandem family.
Mike was buried in the family plot in Allegany Cemetery with a private ceremony officiated by Sr. Regina Gertrude Aman, OSF.
