Frank W. "Zon" Zremski
Allegany, NY Frank W. "Zon" Zremski of Sheldon Drive died Monday (October 23, 2017) at the Olean General Hospital after battling prostrate cancer for the last 3 years.
Born August 14, 1926 in Olean he was the son of John and Anna Jonak Zremski.
"Zon" was a native of Olean, was raised in the North End and attended Transfiguration School and Olean High School. He served in the US Army Air Force during WWII and was stationed in Alaska.
He retired from Dresser Rand and maintained a membership in the Bolivar American Legion Kenyon Andrus Post 772. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his caregiver and cousin Ray (Joyce) Jonak of Allegany and several other cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother Edwin Zremski.
Private burial services will be held at the family's convenience in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
