Roland G. Cornell Allegany, NY Roland G. Cornell of 2050 Eldorado Dr. went to walk with Jesus on Thursday (August 4, 2016) from his home and with the loving final care of his family. Born January 28, 1940 in Olean he was the son of Harold and Velma Hoffmire Cornell. On August 19, 1961 he married Janet Hitchcock who predeceased him October 25, 2003. On May 28, 2011 in Allegany he married Betty Scoville Antonioli who survives. Mr. Cornell attended Olean High School and graduated from Allegany Central School. He had been employed as plant manager for Conap, Inc., retiring in 1990 after 37 years. He then worked for Keystone Tool and Die as a salesman and retired in 2000. He enjoyed working, being with his family and especially enjoyed entertaining others with his band "Country Classics" for 15 years. Surviving are his wife Betty; a daughter Shannon (Tom) Hatch of Limestone; 3 grandchildren Cody Hatch, Brianne Hatch and Brittany Hatch; 8 great grandchildren; 4 stepchildren Daniel (Alicia) Antonioli of Shinglehouse, David Antonioli of Portville, Cynthia (Drew) Vics of Westchester, PA and Michael (Amy) Antonioli of Shinglehouse, PA; 3 sisters Sandra (Tony) Laurino of Long Island, Judy (Ron) Orsini of Cuba and Terry Cornell of Allegany and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Janet he was predeceased by a granddaughter Tiffany Hatch in 2011. Friends will be received today (Friday) from 5-7pm and on Saturday (August 6, 2016) from noon to 2pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Services will begin at 2pm in the funeral home. Reverends Matthew and Janie McDonald, co-pastors of Foursquare Gospel Church in Bradford, PA, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 5488 Sheridan Drive, Suite 300 Williamsville, NY 14221 or to the American Lung Association Of WNY, Inc 210 John Glenn Drive # 3, Buffalo, NY 14228.
