Allegany- Louis J. Marino, of 3475 Smith Hollow Road, passed away Tuesday (May 19, 2015) at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born August 27, 1959 in Olean, he was the son of John and Annette Bonaventure Marino, II. On April 21, 1984 at the Faith Bible Church in Little Genesee, he married Tina Petty, who survives. Mr. Marino was a graduate of Olean High School. He was a member of the Five Mile Baptist Church in Allegany and enjoyed the outdoors and camping. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Marino successfully launched several business endeavors including Kustom Car Care, Allegany Building Care, and Mattress City Sleep Shop in Arcade. Surviving besides his wife are his parents of Olean; five children John (Kristin) Marino of Orrville, OH, Joshua (Samantha) Marino of Fountain, CO, Joseph Marino of Buffalo, Michaela Marino of Shickshinny, PA, and Jacob Marino of Allegany; three grandchildren Caleb, Madelyn and Levi; his twin brother Thomas (Holly) Marino of Olean; one sister Camille (Pete) Montana of East Amherst; one brother-in-law Arnold “Ozzie” Abrams of Allegany; several nieces and nephews and his many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister Linda Marie Abrams on September 27, 2010. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road in Olean on Monday from 4-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (May 26, 2015) at 11:00am at the Five Mile Baptist Church in Allegany. Pastor John Marino will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Five Mile Baptist Church or to Roswell Park Cancer Institute PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240-0631. Online condolences may be expressed at www.oleanfuneralhome.com.
